Many Wheel of Fortune fans know that Vanna White is great at her job and at crocheting, but they may not know that she is also pretty good at painting. The hostess showed off her skills in a new video as she chatted with Celebrity Wheel of Fortune star Action Bronson.
Action Bronson is a rapper, chef, and television host. He is the host of the travel food series F**k, That’s Delicious. Bronson is also known for Traveling the Stars: Action Bronson and Friends Watch Ancient Aliens, The Untitled Action Bronson Show, The Chew, and more.
Most recently, he appeared on Season 6, episode 14 of Celebrity Wheel of Fortune, where he played alongside celebrity chef Kristen Kish and NFL player Rashid Shaheed. The 10-episode series dropped on Disney+ on June 12.
Bronson and White painted and sipped wine in an afternoon paint session that was shared to WOF‘s YouTube channel. They got a category in which they had to paint. It was “Rhyme Time,” and the puzzle read, “Fun in the Sun.”
The chef told White to “Just feel it” while she was painting. His love of painting happened when he was about to go on a tour in Rome, Italy. He tore his meniscus playing in a celebrity softball game and had to cancel the tour. Instead of wasting his summer, Bronson decided to take up painting.
“This is truly my therapy,” he said. “I lose myself within.”
They then went on to talk about dancing, music, cooking, and his time on the game show, as they painted. Bronson said he “had a couple of brain farts” that he “choked up to nerves.”
“It was a splendid day. When you came into the dressing room, everyone’s hearts stopped,” he said to White. She put her brush down, tilted her head, and said, “No.”
“I’m being very honest. It was just shocking that you came and said hello,” Bronson said. “I’m a big fan of you.”
White said the feeling was mutual and that her daughter was also a big fan. They then revealed their paintings. White’s was a beach theme, with sand, the ocean, a palm tree, the sun, and the sky. Bronson drew a frog heart with two small frog faces. He signed the photo and gave it to White to keep.
