Princess Catherine may never have worn Monica Vinader’s latest earrings, but we think the timeless design would fit seamlessly into her royal jewellery collection, thanks to its striking resemblance to one of the royal’s favourite styles.

Monica Vinader has just launched its new Birthstone Huggie Earrings, priced at £75, featuring a classic huggie hoop with a delicate gemstone charm. In the past the 44-year-old royal has previously worn a remarkably similar pair of garnet hoop earrings by British jewellery brand Spells of Love.

Those earrings are currently priced at £85, but shoppers hoping to get their hands on a pair will have to be patient, as they’re currently available on a 10 to 12-week pre-order while each pair is handmade.

The collection isn’t limited to January birthdays either – making them a thoughtful personalised gift for birthdays, anniversaries or special occasions. Whether you’re shopping for a loved one or treating yourself, there’s a gemstone to suit every month of the year.

For those who favour cooler-toned jewellery, the earrings are also available in sterling silver, offering the same versatile two-in-one design.

The Princess has long favoured Monica Vinader’s understated jewellery, wearing their Nura Pearl necklace and Siren Wire earrings on repeat over the years.
