Prince George will be following his father Prince William’s footsteps by starting his journey at Eton College this autumn. The 13-year-old is the Prince and Princess of Wales’s eldest child, with their two other children – Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis – carrying on their studies at Lambrook School.
George will reportedly have his own room at his new school, where he will be boarding, for one major reason. William revealed earlier this year that George was already boarding at his former school, likely a way to get him used to the idea at Eton.
It has been revealed that all students have the luxury of their own room at Eton – and this includes the young prince.

The website states: “From the very beginning, each boy has his own study-bedroom: there are no shared rooms.
“Boys thus have their own private space and are required to organise themselves and to develop self-discipline in meeting tasks and deadlines.”
Prince William formerly attended Eton between 1995 and 2000, whilst Prince Harry attended the school between 1998 and 2003.
Whilst William has spoken positively about his experience at the school, his eldest son will experience the school in a whole different way due to one major difference in his life.

In a piece for The Daily Mail, royal author Robert Jobson said: “The difference is everything.
“William walked into Eton carrying his parents’ marital war. George walks in from a settled home. Two parents, together, who built him a base and guard it fiercely. Confidence is not taught. It is absorbed.”
It was revealed earlier this year that George will be joining Eton, with a statement released on behalf of his parents.
