In a surprising turn of events, many fans skipped questions to request the return of OG coach Blake Shelton.

“This is for Blake Shelton: Man, we need you back to The Voice, to face off Adam and Kelly, in one season with only three of you 😍🔥😂,” one person begged. “Anything with Blake in it is hilarious and fun! I miss him!” another agreed. “Blake Shelton, please come back 🔥,” a different follower added.

Blake was a coach on The Voice from season 1, which premiered in 2011, through season 23, which aired in the spring of 2023. He eventually left the competition series after 12 years in the role and won a total of 9 times during his tenure on the show.

Blake told Access Hollywood in 2023 that he stepped away to be a better husband to Gwen Stefani and stepfather to her sons, Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo.

“I think the only way for me to really [parent] right is to step away from being committed to something like The Voice that demands a lot of your time,” he shared at the time. “There’s no way around it. If you’re going to do it and do it right, you have to be 100 percent in. And I just feel like those days are behind me for now. I got a more important job.”
