Rod Stewart turned his latest Florida concert into an unforgettable family moment when his daughter Ruby and 2-year-old grandson Otis joined him onstage for a special performance of “Forever Young.”
The 81-year-old rock legend was performing at Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, Fla., on Friday, Feb. 27, as part of his ongoing One Last Time Farewell Tour when Ruby, 38, appeared alongside her young son.
Ruby, who is a musician herself, joined her father for a duet of the ‘80s classic while little Otis stayed close to his mother. Wearing noise-canceling headphones, the toddler could be seen clinging to Ruby’s leg during the performance.
Then came an even sweeter moment. During an instrumental break, Ruby picked up Otis and danced with her father while holding her son in her arms. Rod appeared unable to hide his smile as he watched his daughter and grandson beside him onstage.
Ruby later shared a clip of the special performance on her Instagram Stories on Saturday, Feb. 28, capturing the rare moment that brought three generations of the Stewart family together.
“Three generations of [Stewarts] one stage…,” she wrote in the caption.

Ruby is one of Rod Stewart’s eight children, whom he shares with five mothers. She is the daughter of Rod and his former girlfriend Kelly Emberg.
Like her famous father, Ruby pursued a career in music. The self-described “songstress” was previously part of the country music duo The Sisterhood, which disbanded in 2021. She now performs as a solo artist and occasionally shares the stage with her father.
Ruby welcomed Otis with her fiancé, Jake Kalic. The couple announced their engagement in early 2023 before revealing later that year that they had welcomed their son on Mother’s Day.
At the time, Ruby described becoming Otis’ mother as a love unlike anything she had experienced before. She revealed that he was born on May 9 at 3:36 p.m., weighing 8 lbs., 8 oz.

Ruby has occasionally offered fans glimpses into her family life on Instagram, including a heartfelt post celebrating Otis’ second birthday last year.
Alongside an outdoor photograph of her toddler, she reflected on some of her favorite memories from his second year, from hearing him say “I love you” for the first time to watching him find the courage to face things that frightened him.
She also recalled seeing him comfort crying friends at school.
The milestone brought mixed emotions for the proud mother, who admitted she was already feeling nostalgic for the days when Otis was small enough to fit in her arms and when they would walk together holding hands.
“One day you will outgrow me… but you will always be my baby,” Ruby wrote in her birthday message.
Rod’s wife, Penny Lancaster, also left a loving message beneath the post, wishing Otis a happy second birthday and Ruby a happy Mother’s Day.
A big Stewart family

Ruby is one of eight children raised by Rod Stewart. The “Maggie May” singer is father to four daughters — Sarah, 62, Kimberly, 46, Ruby, 38, and Renee, 33 — and four sons — Sean, 45, Liam, 31, Alastair Wallace, 20, and Aiden Patrick, 15.
For one night in Florida, however, the spotlight belonged to just three generations of that family: Rod, Ruby and little Otis, sharing the stage during a performance of “Forever Young.”
