Meghan Markle is reportedly “grovelling” to try and get back into the Royal Family’s good books, it has been revealed. The Duchess of Sussex, 44, spent a brief few days in the UK earlier this month, alongside her husband Prince Harry and their two children Prince Archie and Princes Lilibet.

While Meghan had not previously visited Britain properly since 2022, it is believed that her visit this year is part of her attempt to reconcile with her husband’s royal relatives. This is, according to one royal expert, because they need their relationship with the Royal Family to help them stay “relevant”. It is believed this is especially the case for Meghan.

Majesty Magazine editor-in-chief Ingrid Seward told The Sun:“I think Harry is keen to reconcile with the family, and I am sure that Meghan does too as she needs that sparkle of royal gold dust around her so she becomes relevant again and her overall popularity improves.

“I am sure the pair are grovelling. At the moment at home for Meghan the Americans hate her.

“Her popularity is shattered – of course there will always be the Meghan superfans – but largely she is seen as somebody who breaks ties with her own family and she is seen as splitting Harry and the children from their family too.

“The Americans also love the Royals too, so winning them back would help her situation enormously. Meghan needs to mend those fences, but she is having to take a back seat and gradually work around this.”

While Harry spent almost a week in the UK earlier this month, his wife and children only spent a few days in Britain.

This is reportedly because of security concerns, with Harry flying in solo and later being joined by his family when an enhanced security private package had been arranged.

This was reportedly needed as the family found out they would not be given armed police protection.

While Meghan, Archie and Lilibet made no public appearances like Harry did, they did enjoy private family time.

This included a visit to Althorp, along with a reunion at Highgrove with King Charles and Queen Camilla.
