However, Khusanov committed a late challenge before clattering into an unsuspecting cameraman.

The 22-year-old was unscathed following the heavy collision.

Meanwhile, the camera operator appeared to pick up an injury.

Medics rushed over to him following the incident to give assistance.

Fans took to social media to react, with one person writing: “What an unnecessary challenge from Khusanov.”

Another said: “Hope the camera operator’s OK – those collisions can be pretty rough.”

While a third commented: “Hope no one was hurt.”

It is currently unknown if the camera operator was seriously injured.

The incident occurred five minutes before Colombia took the lead.

Crystal Palace star Daniel Munoz opened the scoring with a brilliant flick into the net from a Diaz cross.

However, Abbosbek Fayzullaev equalised for Uzbekistan on the hour-mark with a headed effort from close range after Camilo Vargas’ initial save from a Eldor Shomurodov volley fell directly into his path.

Diaz restored the lead just five minutes later with a composed strike into the bottom-right corner after Colombia capitalised on an error in midfield.

And Jaminton Campaz came off the bench to make it 3-1 to the South American side in added time.
