Haaland wasn’t involved in the game as manager Stale Solbakken opted to rest his best players with their spot in the Round of 32 already secure.

But there was a Haaland figure off the pitch as the Magic Mike star Channing Tatum disguised himself as the team’s Striking Viking.

Tatum already made headlines by copying Haaland’s look in a hilarious Nike ad before the World Cup.

The pair embraced for a photoshoot as Tatum wore the same Norway kit and had a blonde wig to mirror Haaland.

The Man City striker posted the pictures to his Instagram and wrote: “Seeing double.”

And Tatum wore the outfit once again for Norway’s final World Cup group game at the Gillette Stadium in Massachussetts.

The Step Up and 21 Jump Street actor was front and centre of Norway fans enjoying the occasion.

He joined a group of Norway fans watching the action as they put their arms around him.

Tatum was wearing a blonde wig to showcasing Haaland’s classic braided long hair.

Unfortunately for Tatum and the Norway fans, the team were well beaten by a ruthless France side.

PSG star Ousmane Dembele blitzed a superb first-half hat-trick, which was the second earliest World Cup treble.

The group will have been thrilled to see Thelo Aasgaard pull one back before agonisingly watching Jorgen Strand Larsen miss from the spot.

Desiree Doue then nodded in a late fourth to compound Norway’s woes.

Solbakken had rung the changes to keep his side fresh ahead of their first knockout round tie against Ivory Coast.

Haaland, who had netted four goals at the tournament before Friday’s game, was given a well-deserved rest.
